Confirm Logan versus a broader valley visit

Tell the provider where the vehicle is and whether you can drive to their shop. For a mobile request elsewhere in Cache Valley, ask about travel, setup, and the cost of a second visit before comparing totals.

Describe the behavior, not just the suspected part

Record when the problem happens and what changed before it began. Include any existing inspection findings, without treating an online guess as a confirmed diagnosis. This gives each mechanic a consistent starting point.

Separate repair work from registration needs

If the request is connected to a vehicle inspection, say so up front. Ask whether the provider performs diagnosis, repairs, an authorized test, or only some of those steps. Confirm where the vehicle must go for each appointment.

The person behind the offer

Meet your next go-to.

See the work, service area, and profile details before you choose.

The directory is opening as providers join. Published profiles and service coverage will appear there.

A few things, made clear.

Will a repair quote include an emissions test?

Only if the offer explicitly includes it and the provider is authorized to perform the test. Confirm testing separately from diagnosis and repairs.

A closer look, before the work

Your choice.
Your qualification review.

Want to see a license, proof of insurance, or another qualification document? Choose what you want to check when you post your request.

Request documents → keep the 48-hour window.
It starts after accepting and funding a bid. You may cancel during that window and be eligible for a full refund, subject to the published policies and applicable payment, risk, and legal conditions.

Request none → waive that window.
If you keep it, the provider should wait until it expires or you expressly authorize an early start. Early-start authorization ends that specific automatic full-refund qualification-review cancellation right. Once the window expires, work may proceed as scheduled.

Optional client document checks do not remove required provider credentials. A document upload is not a blanket verification. Other issue and dispute rights remain under the policies.
