A closer look, before the work

Your choice.
Your qualification review.

Want to see a license, proof of insurance, or another qualification document? Choose what you want to check when you post your request.

Request documents → keep the 48-hour window.
It starts after accepting and funding a bid. You may cancel during that window and be eligible for a full refund, subject to the published policies and applicable payment, risk, and legal conditions.

Request none → waive that window.
If you keep it, the provider should wait until it expires or you expressly authorize an early start. Early-start authorization ends that specific automatic full-refund qualification-review cancellation right. Once the window expires, work may proceed as scheduled.

Optional client document checks do not remove required provider credentials. A document upload is not a blanket verification. Other issue and dispute rights remain under the policies.

A few things, made clear.

Is landscaping the same as lawn mowing?

No. Routine lawn care maintains an existing yard. Landscape installation changes the layout, plants, irrigation, or materials. Ask for separate scopes if you need both.

How should I compare landscape estimates?

Ask each provider to price the same measured areas, material specifications, plant sizes, irrigation work, and cleanup. A low total can exclude work that another offer includes.

Can I start removing lawn before applying for a waterwise incentive?

Check the current program rules first. Utah’s Landscape Incentive Program says not to kill or remove grass before application approval and a site visit. Eligibility depends on location and project details. Read the state program guidance.
