It starts after accepting and funding a bid. You may cancel during that window and be eligible for a full refund, subject to the published policies and applicable payment, risk, and legal conditions.
Request none → waive that window.
If you keep it, the provider should wait until it expires or you expressly authorize an early start. Early-start authorization ends that specific automatic full-refund qualification-review cancellation right. Once the window expires, work may proceed as scheduled.
Optional client document checks do not remove required provider credentials. A document upload is not a blanket verification. Other issue and dispute rights remain under the policies.

Can I compare concrete quotes by square foot alone?
Only when the scope matches. Removal, excavation, base preparation, thickness, reinforcement, access, finish, and drainage work can change the total.
